1870s Traveling Doctor's Saddlebag
$275.00 / Sold Out
This doctor's bag is from a time when transporting the sick was not readily available.
Doctors would often receive a letter requesting aid and the doctor could throw this saddlebag over their horse and be on their way. Not knowing exactly the cause of illness, they would pack a wide range of medicine.
This particular bag is packed with antique bottles, some still with labels and contents. We believe most of these to be original. Leather is stamped "Elliott's Patent, Granted January 18, 1870. A. A. Mellier St. Louis, MO Sole Proprietor".
This is a very unique display item apart of medical history.
Condition is good considering it's age. Priced accordingly.
SALE: was $395, now $275
